This superb film from Madhouse animation and directed by Mamoru Hosoda was a real surprise for me. A beautifully animated, and touching melodramatic comedy, that only uses the science fiction theme to weave an unusual love story, but more particularly a story of discovering love - love that is where we least expect it.
